Plans

God plan is better

This Week’s Verse: Proverbs 16:9

“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” (NIV)

I have always been the type of person to write down my plans. I have an agenda book that is filled with my “To-Do Lists” as well as sticky notes and an excessive amount of highlighters. I’m so extra with it, that I make my plans and then freak out when things don’t work out the way that I set it up.

God plan vs my plan 1

Planning is not the problem though. The problem arises when we forget that what we have arranged for ourselves comes second to what God has in store for us. I know that I personally will stress myself out worrying about tomorrow; completely forgetting that God’s got it.

One of my goals for 2018 is to simply relax and allow God’s plan for my life to shine through. Because honestly, what good does worrying and anxiety add to your life? None!
