How Can I Help?

When I was in school learning US history, the younger me often wondered: what was the average American citizen doing while slavery/the Holocaust/Japanese internment camps took place? And now here we are in this moment of human rights injustice…

With the overflow of negative images and disturbing news it’s easy to become discouraged. I look at the current events and want to cry because I feel powerless to do anything that would make a difference. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably asking yourself what can I do to help?

Well, thankfully there are a ton of meaningful ways that you and I can make a difference in the lives of those affected by the family separations taking place at the US/Mexican border. I don’t want to let this moment in history continue on and possibly become worse without doing anything.
